Description: After a detailed history of the association of the Garden Tomb with the tomb of Jesus in the late 19th century, this article lists and analyzes the evidence for it actually being an 8th to 7th century BC tomb. Evidence, including its shape and structure, as well as artifacts in or near it, all support the First Temple, rather than the Second Temple dating.
